Who runs this site

This policy explains which data this site processes and why. It covers this website only, not the game server, the store or third-party services.

What the site doesn’t do

• it doesn’t ask you to register and doesn’t accept forms, comments or messages from visitors;
• it sets no cookies for visitors and stores nothing in your browser except the chosen theme for the current tab (sessionStorage), which disappears when you close it;
• it uses no analytics, counters, ads or social media pixels;
• it loads no fonts, scripts, videos or images from other sites: everything is served from this server.

Which data is processed

Every time a page is opened, the hosting web server automatically writes a technical log entry: IP address, date and time of the request, the page address, the address you came from, and browser and device details. The site doesn’t link these entries to your nickname, name or server account.

Site administrators get WordPress session cookies when they log in to the dashboard. This doesn’t apply to visitors.

Why, and on what legal basis

The logs keep the site running, protect it from attacks and help find errors. The legal basis is the operator’s legitimate interest in running and securing the site (Article 6(1)(7) of Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data”; for visitors from the EU, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). No automated decisions affecting you are made from this data.

How long it’s kept and who gets it

Server logs are kept for the period set by the hosting provider and then deleted automatically.

The hosting provider processes the logs on the operator’s behalf. They are not shared with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Links to other services

Links to VK, Telegram, the @SpookyTimeBot bot, Discord, TikTok and the store at shop.spookytime.net open those services. Once you follow a link, that service handles your data under its own rules. Purchases in the store are governed by the store’s terms.

Security

Only site administrators can access the logs and the dashboard.

Your rights

You can ask whether there is data about you and ask to correct, restrict or delete it. Write to the operator at the address above and give the date, time and IP address of your visit: without them a log entry can’t be found. You’ll get an answer within 10 working days; if more time is needed, the deadline can be extended by up to 5 working days with an explanation (Articles 14 and 20 of Law No. 152-FZ).

If you think your rights have been violated, you can complain to Roskomnadzor (rkn.gov.ru) or to the data protection authority of your country.

If the site starts collecting other data, this policy will be updated before that happens. The version date is at the top.
